Robert Trevor Chase's Obituary
Robert Trevor Chase, 86, made his final move ... to his heavenly home on August 22, 2017, due to complications following a stroke. He was a retired photo engraver from the Boston Globe and always enjoyed talking of his work there. He was a self-educated man, a gentleman, and a very kind-hearted soul. He lived life to the fullest with his surviving wife Sheila Vito-Randall Chase, living in Michigan, Arizona, and Florida, and always saying "I've saved the boxes" in anticipation of the next move! He loved traveling, hitting the casino from time to time to try his luck, and smoking a good cigar. He is also survived by his son, Paul (Beth) Chase, granddaughter Christine (Randy) Boes, grandsons Paul (Deehje) Chase and Jared (Rachel) Chase, four great-grandchildren, his mother- and father-in-law Ruth and Arthur Randall, and a large extended family from the Howard and Randall clans of Michigan. Preceding him in death were his parents, George and Sarah Chase, his beloved first wife Agnes Chase, his granddaughter Holly Chase, and his step-son Bradley Midgett. Per his wishes, he has been cremated and there will be no public service.
In lieu of flowers, in his memory and to honor and celebrate his life, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or to the Bradley James Midgett Psychology Memorial Scholarship Fund at Western Michigan University - checks can be made payable to WMU Foundation with 'Bradley James Midgett Psychology Memorial Scholarship' in the memo line and sent to WMU Foundation, 1903 W Michigan Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49008-9947.
