Ricky Eugene Lominack's Obituary
Ricky Eugene Lominack, of Lakeland, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. Born in Montezuma, Georgia, to the late Cleveland and Martha Lominack, Ricky lived a life defined by kindness, dedication, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone he met.
Ricky devoted nearly forty years of his life to a career with CSX Railroad. Away from work, his true joy was found near the water. Whether fishing in Tampa Bay, Homosassa, Ruskin, or any place salty and wet, Ricky found peace and happiness with a line cast and the ocean breeze around him.
A devoted husband, brother, and friend, Ricky is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Lominack; his brother, Mickey (Chris) Lominack; and his sister-in-law, Nancy Hendrick (John). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, each of whom he loved and cared for as if they were his own children. His loyal cat, T.J., was his constant companion and a true friend.
In honoring Ricky’s life, the family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to AMVETS Post 32 in Lakeland or to the Breast Cancer Awareness organization of your choice.
Ricky will be remembered for his gentle nature, his love of the sea, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life.
A visitation will be held at Gentry Morrison, Southside Chapel on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 2-4pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11am in Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland.
