Richard was born to the late William and Irene Halifax on July 6, 1939, in Minden City Michigan. He was the twelfth child of sixteen. Surviving Siblings are: Betty Smith, Jean Wilson, Jack (Mary) Halifax, Robert Halifax, Mary Lou Read Obituary
Richard was one of the group that volunteered time to do what ever asked on the Lake where we lived. He would always stop at Bob's for a good with both Bob and Cy , my husband. Always running the lake with Linda in his Tiger's golf cart, and stopping to chat with everyone.
Richard was always cracking jokes with us. And we had an ice cream social and my hubby Jeff, Richard and myself was having a ice cream eating contest. Richard made it so much fun and memorable for sure. We could always count on Richard, he was always there for us when we needed some help. Richard will be missed for sure, he is at peace and with our Lord. Can't wait someday to meet up with Richard.

What a good, Godly man with a joyful soul. I remember how he embraced our children, upon first meeting them. The kids loved Uncle Richard, Aubrey thought so much of him.
