Richard “Dick” Fisher
Lakeland – Richard “Dick” Fisher, 74, passed away from cancer Aug. 9, 2014.
Mr. Fisher was born in Allentown, PA on July 14, 1940. He graduated from Ft. Lauderdale in 1959, attended Cleaver Brooks Boiler School and spent 50 years in the boiler industry. He was a member of Olin S. Wright Lodge, Plant City; member of the Egypt Shriners, Tampa, Florida. Dick was a member of the Scottish Rite and York Rite bodies. He was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Zephyrhills where he served as usher.
Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Becky Fisher; daughter, Joelle Fisher; son, Rick Fisher; brother, William P. Fisher; and grandchildren, William Richard Doehring, Sara, Ricky and Jessi Fisher.
Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 38710 5th Ave, Zephyrhills, FL 33542. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Egypt Shrine Transportation Fund, 4050 Dana Shores Dr. Tampa, FL 33634 or Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave. Auburndale, FL 33823.
