Richard A. “Dick” Clairmore – Lakeland
Richard “Dick” Clairmore, 81, died April 26, 2016 in Lakeland, FL. He was born July 25, 1934, in Rhinelander, WI to Archie and Nettie (McIntyre) Clairmore. Richard is a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Korean War as a gunner and cook. After his honorable discharge, he furthered his career in the restaurant business as a chef and manager. He then pursued a career as a truck driver, from which he retired in 2006.
Richard is survived by his wife, Joyce Clairmore, and daughters, Kim (David) Smith, and Vicki (Ron) Dunlap, grandchildren, Clint (Lindsay) Dunlap, Jenna (Todd) Glenn, Garrett (Ashley) Dunlap, and great grandchildren, Logan and Nicholas Glenn.
He is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.
Memorial Services will be held Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 2:00pm at Highland Park Church 4777 Lakeland Highlands Rd., Lakeland, FL 33813.
