Rhonda Joan Keen-Alvarado's Obituary
Lakeland-Rhonda Joan Keen-Alvarado passed away on August 24, 2017. She was the wife of Macario (Mark) Alvarado. She was born on January 13, 1962 in Chicago, IL. She was the daughter of the late Geneva Hall and George Keen. Rhonda was the youngest of ten children. She graduated from Senn High School in Chicago and Wilbur Wright College where she became a CNA. She retired from Lakeland Regional Medical Center in 2011 after working on the cardiac unit for eight years. She married her husband Macario (Mark) on September 5, 1998 and moved to Florida in 2004.
Besides her husband she is survived by her three children, two daughters Deanna and Haley and one son, Dylan. She also leaves her step-children, Kristina, Maria, Angie, Jaime and Stephen; as well as seven grandchildren.
Rhonda was loved by many. She always had an open home and was a “mother bear” to many people. She was the life of every party. She enjoyed hosting parties, baking and cooking for everyone.
The visitation is scheduled for Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside Chapel.
