Reinaldo "Ray" Rosario's Obituary
Reinaldo Rosario Colon, born on June 23, 1943, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 17, 2024. He was the cherished child of Reinaldo and Julia Rosario.
Reinaldo dedicated much of his life to serving others. He served as a Maintenance Supervisor at North Central Bronx Hospital, where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impact. It was during his time there that he met the love of his life, Georgina Rosario, with whom he shared many beautiful years of companionship and love.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Reinaldo will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. His infectious laughter and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.
He is survived by his beloved wife Georgina Rosario; his children Maria and Darryl Preston, Elba and Carlos Aceves Rosales, Margarita Haymond and Philip De Bourg, Yvette Navarro,
Julia and Andre Rosario Sewell, Michael Ray Rosario, and April and Timothy Mapes; grandchildren and great children Anthony, Diana Preston and 3 children, Christopher Ovalle and 3 children, Jonathan, Joshua and 2 children, Steven Santos, Kristin Figueroa, Mason and Austin Navarro, Andrea Rosario, Katelynn Powell, Donald Funk and 1 child, Micaela, Serena, Easton Rosario, Sabrina Alexandra and Matthew David Mapes; siblings Anthony Rosario, Georgina Long, Blanca Diaz, Benjamin Rosario; best friends Manny and Paula Santiago, and a host of relatives and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
A celebration of Reinaldo's life will be held at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel, on Monday, April 29, 2024.Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00PM, with service to immediately follow at 12:00PM.
