Randall J. Smith “Randy” 55 of Lakeland died on March 13, 2018 in Tampa. He was born in Cincinnati, OH to Flem & Virginia (Grooms) Smith and moved to the Lakeland area from Cincinnati, OH. Randy was a self-employed heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his daughter Jessica Smith of Lakeland, FL, Mother Virginia Anderson of Lakeland, FL, Brother Daniel (Cindy) Smith of Bushnell, FL, Sisters Linda Schmardebeck of Marble Head, OH, Judy (Dale) Robinson of Lakeland, FL, One Granddaughter Gabriella. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Rd, Lakeland from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at which time a service will take place. Randy will be laid to rest at Socrum Cemetery during a sunset committal service.
