Phillip Womble's Obituary
Phillip Womble, Highland City, Fla, lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Lakeland, Florida. Born in 1943, he is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Lorena Womble.
A graduate of Florida Southern College, he retired from the State of Florida Juvenile Justice System and was the owner of Womble Ranch in Manatee County. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Vicki Cope Womble, brother Don, Houston, Texas, sons, Paul, Lakeland, David, Bartow, daughter in-laws, Dawn Womble and Amber Womble, grandson Garrett and granddaughters Hannah, Audrey, and Mallory.
A family visitation will be held at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Bartow Highway at Grove Park in Lakeland on Monday August 22, 2016 from 6-8pm. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday August 23, 2016 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Bartow Highway, US 98 S.
