Paul Eric Mowrer's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Eric Mowrer announces his sudden passing on Friday, May 12, 2023, in Tampa, Florida at the age of 24 years old. The family is devastated and shocked by this loss.
Paul was born on November 14, 1998 in Winter Haven/Lake Wales, Florida. He lived his early years on Lake Pierce in Lake Wales before moving to Lakeland, Florida. He graduated high school from Lakeland Christian School, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from USF. He served as an usher, watchman, and member of Cornerstone Christian Church and was baptized October 30, 2022. His passing understandably weighs heavily not only on his family, but also with those involved with Cornerstone Christian Church.
Paul was a kind, passionate, quick-witted, technical minded individual, with a great sense of responsibility. He was an avid reader of several book series and story creator for Dungeons and Dragons. He enjoyed culinary, trying new and family recipes, video games, 3D printing, debating politics and USF College Republicans. He will be remembered for his loving heart, intelligent conversations, firm handshakes and the best hugs ever. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Paul is survived by his dad and mom, Eric Graham Mowrer and Chimane Garner Mowrer; sister, Hannah Chimane Mowrer; brother, Luke Justus Mowrer; Gramps, Marcus Garner; Nana, Barbara Garner; Gramma, Susan Mowrer; aunts & uncles, Chad and Argie Garner, Sheri Garner, Jason & Keri Mowrer; cousins, Leo & Daphne Garner, Joshua Stapleton, Ashlee & Annmarie Mowrer; as well as many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Poppa, Graham Mowrer.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 10 am at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 301 N. Florida Ave. Lakeland, FL 33801.
