Patricia “Pat” Churchill, 72
Lakeland - Patricia “Pat” Churchill (née Cooper) died peacefully at Lakeland Regional Medical Center on September 23, 2015 in Lakeland, Florida at the age of 72.
Pat is survived by; husband Keith Churchill, daughter Cynthia Collier, sons Larry E. Collier Jr.( wife Susan), Mark Collier, brother Gary Cooper(wife Holly) sister Ann Nall, grandchildren, Ryan Collier, Jarrod Collier(wife Kelly) of Plant City, Dustin and Lauren Lemister all of Lakeland, great granddaughter Gwendolyn Collier, sisters in law Christine Gill, June Wyett ( husband Gordon ) Sheila Prince ( husband Paul ), Jill Haddy, Jane Peart, brothers in law Tony Churchill ( wife Susan), Graham Churchill (wife Angie),many nieces and nephews in England and many nieces and nephews here in the USA from her brother Jimmy’s family. She is preceded in death by her parents Perry and Christine Cooper and her brother Jimmy.
Pat was born on December 14, 1942 in Lakeland, Florida to Perry and Christine Cooper. She married her husband, Keith Churchill in 1979. After travelling the world together, and living in England for a brief period, the couple returned to Lakeland in 1985. Pat returned to hospitality work at the Holiday Inn on Memorial Boulevard. When not working, Pat and Keith both took great pride in their family and were active in the lives of their children, grandchildren and their great granddaughter. Pat and Keith recently retired to Bradenton, Florida where they were active in both the community and the church, while still finding time to enjoy Pat’s love of the beach and family.
Visitation will be from 3PM till 4PM on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, with a Celebration of Life service at 4PM. The family would like to thank all of the nursing staff at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, especially those on the 4th and, 6th floor, TICU and the Palliative Care Unit and the staff of Compassionate Care Hospice.
