Parris Pultz's Obituary
Parris R. Pultz passed away on June 28, at home with family after a long
illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Ramon and Ruth Pultz,
brother Martin and his daughter Betsy Pultz. He is survived by his wife of
49 years, Bonnie Pultz, his daughters Heather (Jackie) Page of Lakeland,
FL and Wendie (Ed) Webster of Avon NY, his sons Daniel (Lisa) Pultz of
Lakeland, Fl and James (Cassandra) Pultz of Culpeper, VA. Also his
brother Gary(Janet) Pultz, sisters Ava Reddish and Lyn (Chuck) Borden all
of Lakeland, FL and Ellen (Stanley) Milewski of Syracuse, NY. He also has
16 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and multiple nieces and
nephews.
Parris grew up in Port Byron, NY where he was employed by the Town of
Mentz Highway Dept. He then was employed by the NY State Thruway
Authority . He moved to Lakeland, FL in 1995. He was employed by
Power Plant Maintenance.
He was a member of the Port Byron Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years.
After moving to Florida he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle
and becoming his alter ego (Santa Claus) at Christmas time. He made
appearances at multiple functions, and nursing homes in Lakeland.
Spending time with family was a high priority.
Per his request, there will not be a Funeral service. Burial will be at theconvenience of the family.
