Norma Brown Fountain
Lakeland - Norma Brown Fountain, 80, went to be with Jesus Jan. 10, 2018.
Norma was born on June 29, 1937 in Norfolk VA. She was preceded into heaven by her loving husband Jack A. Fountain Sr., 3 of her siblings and 3 of her grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Brown Forbes of Hampton VA; daughters, Jean Burbank (Larry) of Lakeland, Jane Haddock (Glen)of Powhattan, VA, Julie Shrake (Edward) of Boonsville, TX; stepson, Jack A. Fountain Jr. (Linda) of Port St. Lucie FL; step daughter, Linda Velez (Joseph) of Pompano Beach FL; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Norma took great pleasure in helping in all areas of her children’s interests. She was a Girl Scout volunteer and a PTA board member. She was an avid Bunco and Scrabble player and bowler. She was also a past member of Amvets. Norma has been a member of Lake Gibson Church of the Nazarene for 40 years.
Services will be at Lake Gibson Nazarene Church on Sat. 1/20. Visitation at 10 am and funeral service to follow at 11am. Condolences at www.gentry-morrison.com.
