Nita L. Pickett's Obituary
Nita L. Pickett, 64, Lakeland, passed away October 19, 2018 after a long illness. She was born September 30, 1954 in Dubois, PA to the late Robert Giles and Wilma Kathaleen Hutchins. After graduating from high school, she entered the nursing field in 1972. After a 45 year career, Nita retired in 2017. She enjoyed thrift-shopping, antiques, and crafting.
Nita is survived by her husband, Scott; daughter Jennifer Anne (Jamie) Ball; brother Tim(Fran) Hutchins; step-daughter Samantha; step-son Ryan; and 2 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5-7 pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel. At Nita’s request, there will be no formal service. Casual dress is encouraged.
