Mr. Nathan Robert Kozich's Obituary
Nathan Robert Kozich, 54, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away at his home on April 28, 2025. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Nathan moved to Florida in 1979, where he built a life filled with hard work, family, and a love for the outdoors.
Nathan worked as a maintenance mechanic and was a proud member of the Boilermakers Union. He was known for his strong work ethic and practical skills. Outside of work, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, archery, and collecting firearms. He loved spending time at the beach and had a particular fondness for his Jeeps, which brought him many miles of joy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Carson Kozich; granddaughter, Cassidy Kozich; and grandparents, Myrtle Kozich, Clara Plate, and Harry Plate.
Nathan is survived by his son, Austin Kozich (Briana); granddaughters, Aaleigh and Ariana Kozich; mother, Patricia Bishop; and siblings, Derrick Kozich (Tammi), Benjamen Kozich (Alexis), Kristopher Kozich (Cynthia) and Stephanie Bishop. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Aiden, Gavin, Blake, Rhys, Kaila, Hannah, and Taylor. Nathan's life was also enriched by extended family and close friends including Barkley and Bill McBride, Nick and Mandy Burchfield, Mike and Patricia Stadtmuller, and Rob Bishop.
A celebration of life will take place on Monday, May 5, 2025, 10:30am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4450 Harden Blvd., Lakeland, Florida 33813.
