Mozelle Rackley (Dail) Marino
Lakeland – Mozelle Rackley (Dail) Marino, 93, passed away Nov. 5, 2018.
Mrs. Marino was born in Lakeland on Apr. 20, 1925 to the late Willie and Mary Rackley. She was a charter member of Victory Church where she was a member of the choir. She was a seamstress, specializing in the making of wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses, having clients she sewed for as well as her family. For several Polk County schools, she made cheerleader and majorette uniforms, and tailored men’s suits for local dignitaries. She was a longtime member of the Lakeland Garden Club – Hibiscus Circle. Mrs. Marino was a former President of the Garden Club, and also was a Florida Federation Floral Judge for the Garden Club.
Mrs. Marino was preceded in death by her husband, John Dail; second husband, Jim Marino; sisters, Catherine Rhea, Lillie Mae Brooks and Betty Taylor. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Martha) Dail, Rodney (Evelyn) Dail and Tony (Connie) Dail; daughters, Judy Dickinson and Terry Hiers; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted Fri. Nov. 16th at 1 pm at Victory Church’s Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or Victory Church.
