"Blessed are those who die in the Lord, for they rest from their labors."
Monte was a faithful witness to the Lord in season and out of season.
Through thick and thin, celebrations and adversity, Monte was a shining
light to so many. I was honored to know and love him as a brother in Christ.
My prayers are with Liz and Garrett, in this tough time. faithfully, Fr. Scott Holcombe

My twin brother Dennis and I have very fond memories of our two years attending Roswell High School before we did our Sr. year at NMMI. Monte was part of our posse back then and so much fun. Great sense of humor. Big and strong as a bull. Well liked by all. Great memories of our parties we had on the Chisum Trail Ranch where we lived on the old Dexter Hwy. I have looked for Monte on FB for ages and never found him and so sad my younger brother Brian sent me the link today concerning his passing. He's in the hands of the Lord now and not a bad place to be in my eyes but left us all way too young. Condolences to all his family and friends. God's Speed Monte! xoxo's
I only met Monte a couple of times, but liked him. It is too bad that his life was cut so short. Part of God's plan somehow, but incomprehensible. May the Barham family be comforted and left with only good memories of him. God bless you.
