Michael Sean Eaton, 50
LAKELAND – Mr. Eaton unexpectedly passed away Wednesday November 21, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Hospital. He was born in Orlando, Florida on November 29, 1967, to William and Loretta Eaton. Michael served from July 1986 to March 1990 in the United Stated Air Force as a Military Police Officer. Most recently he worked for Lakeland Regional Health as a security officer which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was often named the “baker act whisperer” within the hospital. He was a avid sports fan with Florida State Seminoles, Orlando/Lakeland Magic and the Tampa Bay Bucs being his favorite teams. He was also a season ticket holder to the Lakeland Magic as well.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Amy (Burwinkel) Eaton and his four children, Kodi (Shanna)Eaton of Cahokia, Illinois; Nichol Eaton of Lakeland, FL; Dustin Swade and Ciara Deann of Lakeland, FL. Sister, Melissa Lott of Texas; Parents, William and Loretta Eaton of Texas; 5 grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents.
A visitation will be held for Michael Sean Eaton on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 3-4 pm and a Memorial Service at 4:00 pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel, 3350 Mall Hill Dr. Lakeland, FL. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life at The Knights of Columbus Hall at 2014 Lakeland Hills Blvd. Lakeland, FL at 5:00 pm. If anyone is so inclined flowers are welcome or donations can be made in Sean’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
