Our hearts and prayers go out to Ruth, Linda and Tori at Michael's home going. We had fun times as children when our families visited, us cousins played and had sleepovers! We'll see each other in Heaven when God calls us all HOME!! PTL for Michael and Ruth's faithfulness to the Lord and each other as they allowed God to use their gifts in service to HIM! We pray for guidance for Ruth as God holds her hand minute by minute in the coming days, months and years.

Nancy and I have known Ruthie and her family for most of our lives. We saw how her life was completed in Michael, and the way their lives were enriched as they walked together through the experiences of following God's plan for them. Ruthie, please know that our hearts and prayers are with you as the shadow touches your life. We also rejoice with you to know that this shadow is but a fleeting thing, that "Weeping lasts for the night, but joy comes in the morning!" For Mike, morning is already here. For you, it will come, and all who love you will be here for you as collectively we walk through the shadows, but never alone. We have been in the shadows, and we know that morning does come again. Dr. Dusing was my Theology professor at Southeastern many years ago, and he was a stellar individual, both as a person and as an educator. His heart for the students, especially young married couples on campus at the time, was something that blessed many. Rest eternal, Dr. Dusing.
We will never forget Michael and his help in getting us to the Hagerstown Hospital from camp (Potomac Park) as our middle son Michael (approx. age 3-4) was jumping on the bed came down and cut a huge gash in the back of his head. Michael gave us directions to the hospital riding with us and taking time out from his activity that evening. We were forever indebted to Michael from that time on as our paths crossed through the years and he was ever the wonderful compassionate friend. Sorry for the families loss, however, I'm sure many lives have been touched by his wonderful compassion. God bless you all.

Mike was and is a great friend. I think of him every time I visit Potomac Park Camp. Ruthie, am praying for you, your Mom and Mike's family. We had many good times together at Bethel and camp. I look forward to seeing him in eternity. Mike was loving, kind, entertaining and brilliant. I admire him greatly. Love you Ruthie.
