Maynard Eugene Ringer's Obituary
Maynard Eugene Ringer, 88 of Lakeland, Florida passed peacefully into the arms of Christ October 26, 2023. His loving wife, Pamela was by his side.
Maynard was born in Hudson, NY to Carl and Evelyn Ringer. He graduated from Philmont High School in 1952. He decided to join the Army in 1954 and served his country for 20 years. He served abroad in Korea, Germany, and Thailand.
After retirement he moved his family from Virginia to Melbourne, FL to work at Harris Corporation. He traveled quite a bit to Washington, D.C. and California, and lived in Cyprus for 6 months. After 14 years he took early retirement.
Retirement wasn't for him and he went to work at Publix part time for 8 years.
He met the love of his life, Pamela (Pier) and they were married on May 7, 1961. They have three children; Steven Ringer of Lakeland, FL; Helen (Greg) Tiffany of Palm Bay, FL; Timothy (Rowela) Ringer of Shakopee, MN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his 6 siblings, and his granddaughter, Jessica E. Tiffany. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Maynard was a busy man the majority of his life. He was involved in Scouting, Umpiring Little League and Volleyball. Wherever they lived finding a good church was the first priority and serving in whatever capacity is what he loved. He was involved in Royal Rangers, served as an usher, and was a Board Member. Maynard was always well liked at his various jobs and had excellent reviews. He was a devout Christian man who loved God, having accepted the Lord the very first time he heard the Gospel.
Graveside Service will be held on November 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM, at Florida National Cemetery,
