Greg and I only met Maxine once (at Alisha and Chris’s house) but it was enough to know: this was a special person. Maxine and Richard have been my friends since 1962. We met while students at USF. While at USF, it was Maxine that allowed me to use her meal card to keep me healthy as a starving student. We continued our friendship over the years as we embarked on our separate careers. We rekindled our relationship many years after I married Renee. It was such a pleasure to meet Richard and Maxine after so many years apart. Yet our bonds as friends remained strong as ever. Maxine was one of the kindest and nicest people on the Planet.
