MATTHEW AARON BECK, 31
LAKELAND - Matthew A. Beck passed away surrounded by his family on March 29, 2014, due to injuries from an auto accident.
He was born in Lakeland and graduated from All Saints Academy in 2001, where he played baseball. Matthew went on to earn a degree from Polk State. He worked for his best friend Justin Deming at Demco Specialties in Mulberry, FL as a shipping and materials manager. Matt was the most happiest when he was having a good time with family or friends. Matt enjoyed music, watching movies and wrestling, and being at the beach. Matt loved his dog Lady Belle and often had her with him. Matt was a dreamer and was working on finding his place in life. His light will forever burn in the hearts of his family and close friends who love him dearly. Matt had a laugh and smile like no other that will be remembered to the end of our days. Matthew is survived by his parents, Steven and Patricia Beck; sister, Stephanie Aekins and niece, Mia Aekins, all of Lakeland; aunts & uncles, Debbie & John Johnson, Gary & Renee McCullough, Cheryl & David Bridges, Pam McCullough, David McCullough, Paula & Steve Parker, Thomas & Sheryl Beck; cousins, David & Ashley McCullough, Jessica Bridges, Jennifer & William Little, Ethan McCullough, Maddison Little, Haylie Hightower, Lilah McCullough, Benjamin Beck and Susanne Beck.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd, Lakeland. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 11:00am at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park. Condolences may be made to the family at www.gentry-morrison. com
