Mary D. Squire's Obituary
Mary D. Squire
January 28, 1914 - October 6, 2019
Age: 105
I worked for Judge Carr as a clerk for many years and was able to retire, I also loved being a homemaker to our family home. My favorite hobbies and enjoyments were Ball Room Dancing and Cooking. I was preceded in death by my parents, Zeb and Sarah Colyer; a son, Alphonso Squire II: and a grandson, Kenneth Squire.
I was cared for in my later years by my granddaughter and her husband, Lynda and Ebbie Zimmerman. My daughter-in-law is Annette Squire of St. Petersburg, Florida. I have 8 grandchildren; 29+ great grandchildren; 31+ great great grandchildren; 6+ great great great grandchildren; 2 cousins, and a adopted grandchild Chenita Harris. I also had a special neighbor Shirley Davis. I had many friends and adopted grandkids that all called me, “GRANNY”.
If I were able to speak at this time today, I would say Thank you, to Lynda and Ebbie for all the long hours and love they both shown me. Chenita, I will miss you. But I am now Free. A special thank you to all that have come to celebrate my Going Home Celebration.
