Mary Kathleen Sanborn, 79
LAKELAND - Mary Kathleen Sanborn, age 79, a resident of Lakeland, Florida passed away Tuesday June 2, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Holly Grove, Arkansas on July 19, 1935 to Julius and Lena Gannon. Mary married Donald Lawrence Sanborn on June 11, 1955 in Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald Sanborn; daughters, Debra (Steven Sr.) Wiley and Shirley (Carl) Shavers; sisters, Sue (Bobby ) Cheatham and Ann (Gene) White; brothers, Julius Gannon and Donald (Waltraud) Gannon; grandchildren, Steven Jr. (Jamie)Wiley, Joshua (Jessica) Wiley, Amber (Brent) Bost, Katherine Wiley, Kimberly Shavers, Jennifer Snead, and Brett Shavers, and 10 great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5:00 -7:00 pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home 3350 Mall Hill Drive Lakeland Florida. Graveside service will follow at 11:00 am on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be given to the Kidney Foundation in her memory.
