JUNE SALTER, 81
LAKE ALFRED - Mrs. Martha June Salter passed away Monday, January 5, 2015, at her home due to heart failure. She was born in Plant City, FL, on June 10, 1933, to William Chapman Taylor and Mittie Mozella (Carlton) Taylor. She was involved with the food bank at the Auburndale Community Church, Activities Director at Lake Marianna Acres and contributed to the Sheriff's CAP Program. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Salter and her siblings, Jake Taylor and Jeannette 'Honey' Thomas. Survivors include her children, Keith Brown (Brigid), Mike Salter (Elaine), P.C. Salter (Jael), Sherri Terrell (Terry) and Pam Walker; siblings, Johnny (Evelyn), Joann Molinia (Vilas Smith), Jane Jordan (James), Judy Cook, Jimmy Taylor (Glender), Jennifer Reed (Ronnie), Jack Taylor (Brenda), Jill Scott (Randy), Jeff Taylor (Linda), Joy Davis (Victor); 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, also her beloved dog, Sugar. The visitation will be Friday from 10-11 AM at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens (3350 Mall Hill Drive). Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel.
