Marlene Hopkins' Obituary
Marlene Hopkins, age 84, passed away on 11-29-2025 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Lakeland FL. Born at Barker’s Point, New Brunswick, Canada on May 31, 1941, to the late Howard MacFawn and Louise (Robichaud) MacFawn. Marlene was the sister of the late Muriel Courier; Russell MacFawn, Margaret Oagles, and Carro Poole.
She is survived by husband John; children Larry (Laura), William (Sandra), Brenda (Rick); grandchildren James, Jessica, William and Joseph; great grandchildren Charlie, Jack, and Evelyn; sister Marjorie Jones; brothers Fred (Darlene) MacFawn of Fredericton NB, Canada, Harry MacFawn and Lois Proulx of Lakeland FL.
Marlene leaves many family members in Rhode Island, Florida and New Brunswick Canada.
Marlene worked for Home Depot and Lowes before retiring in 2011. She attended New Life Assembly of God, Lakeland, FL.
The family thanks Watson Clinic and LRMC staff for outstanding care provided.
Burial will be private at the request of the family.
