Mark was my supervisor at Geico for the past couple of years. Mark always admired my drive for success and constantly gave me words of encouragement for me and my family. He always praised my achievements with work and in life. He was definitely like a dad at work and I'll forever will remember his encouragement. Mark you will be miss for sure by many. I worked with Mark for several years and have so many memories of sitting down to discuss work and ending up spending an hour taking about life and fond memories of growing up. The Mark I knew was loyal and loved to coach us in life so that we could be better. He loved to celebrate and was always encouraging me when I would do well. We talked often about having a daughter and how much he loved his. He talked about golfing with his dad and hardcore wrestling with his buddies growing up. He talked about music and concerts and how much he enjoyed whatever new band he had recently heard. I miss Mark for sure and I know many many others will say the same. My family and I are praying for you Chelsea and will continue to lift you up during this terrible loss.

I will never forget when Shannon sent me the Geico Gecko! That little guy rode in my back seat for years and years! Shannon laughed when he saw it and couldn’t believe that a grandma would be so pleased over a Gecko! In his honor, the Gecko rides again! Shannon and I were together the day the space shipped exploded in space and we lost so many! He asked me at Chelsea and Andrews wedding if I remembered where we were that day and what we were doing. I did! We were headed to an appointment for him! I also still have a cup for coffee he chose for me over 25 years ago! Twiggy spreading stars around and it says “Blessings”. Shannon always surprised me that he Never -Ever wanted any condiments on a sandwich he ate. No matter what you suggested his answer was “No thanks, just plain”. Chelsea, hang on to all the memories you hear from many different people. Treasure them and hold them dear to your heart. Make them what you remember always! Love you my precious Granddaughter.

I've known Shannon (as an adult called Mark) all of my life. My cousin and my best friend in childhood, we had a lot of great memories together. He was fun loving and loved humor. We had more funny moments than I can ever count. We made videos together, played music and video games together. He loved his music and video games, along with golfing and his friends. His friends were always his rock.

We grew apart as we grew older, but I will always cherish our times together in childhood. He added color and true friendship to my world. He was a special person and he will be dearly missed. My prayers are with everyone who is grieving.

I met Mark this past year when i joined his team but over this past year he's taught me more about integrity and gratefulness than anyone else.
