Lakeland – Mark Scott Murphy, 49, was born on May 5, 1967 in Corning, NY, and passed away June 12, 2016.
Mark was an Army Veteran, and served as a sergeant during Desert Storm. He went on to study computer networking and became a Cisco Certified Network Associate. He enjoyed surfing, taking martial arts, and listening to rock music. Mark was a loving husband, devoted father, son, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Claire Murphy; sons, Christian and Justin Murphy; parents, Michael and Linda Murphy; brothers, Joseph, Michael and Robert Murphy; sister, Candace Murphy; mother and father in law, Theresa and Jaime Portela.
