Mark Allen Dobersch's Obituary
Mark Allen Dobersch, 57, passed away on Friday, January 17th, 2025. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to parents Donald and Patricia Dobersch on November 23rd. 1967. Mark is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donnie Dobersch. He is survived by sister Lea Varner (Brent) as well as numerous family and friends who loved him dearly.
Being an amputee at a young age, Mark never let that slow him down. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a local sports fan – attending as many games as he could. He was a proud member of the Florida Cattlemen’s Association and the National Shoot to Retrieve Association. He also was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lakeland and retired from Publix after 28 years of service. Mark was an accomplished athlete, competing in marathons and triathlons all over the world.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Thursday January 23rd, 2025 at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Mark’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
