I was due to retire from the US Air Force. Mom sent me the sale ad on Marge's home. I called her and we became instant friends. She was more tickled that we were Eastern Star members than the fact we were buying her house in Bath, NY. Once Roger and I changed the looks of the place, she would not come up to see it. Too many memories for her that she did not want to see the difference. She was a very loving and caring lady. Her heart was big enough to love everyone. Besides Eastern Star, my daughter and I sang in the church choir with her for years until she moved to be with her daughter. No matter where you knew her from, she will be missed by all. To the family, you were able to spend a lot of time with a great lady. Remember the good times and be as friendly with others as she was. She will be proud of you. May you find the peace in her passing.
Years ago we belonged to The Red Hat Society. We went on a cruise and had the most fun. We had to do a skit on stage fun times. May she rest in peace. Love prayers and sympathy to her family. Barbara Janzen
I will forever remember the trips to Eastren Star Grand Chapter. and the back for my truck filled with stuff we had to take to Oriskaney for pilligrimage week. Marge had a thing for waste, She would collect the plastic silverware take home and wash it to use again. We would tease her about it but she just laughed.
I will forever miss you and you were the best Granny anyone could ask for and I enjoyed spending time with you and helping you and loved bringing you fur baby visits as you loved dogs and Mr. Stan will forever miss his visits with you.
