LAKELAND - Margaret Vetter, 86, passed away 5/30/15, at home surrounded by her daughters and sister. Margaret was born in Atlanta, GA, on December 22, 1928, to George and Leola Lasiter. Margaret was a homemaker and raised three girls. She started her career in Insurance, later receiving her real estate and brokers license and owned her own business. She also was a professional seamstress.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Ralph of 48 years, which was the love of her life, and her sister Helen Compton. She is survived by her sister Doris Whitfield (Charlie), her three daughters Deborah Keyes (Mike), Judy Marchione and Barbara Eaton (Richard). She has five grandchildren: Charles Phillip Young III (Kristen), Anthony Marchione (Crystal), Summer Dowd (Lance), Christopher Keyes (Jennifer), Benjamin Eaton and six great grandchildren: Cody, Skye, Layla, Saelor, Catherine, Layne and many great nieces and nephews. She loved her family, her two cats Sammie and Ozzie and playing Mahjong with her friends at the Colonnades. Services will be planned at a later date.
