Margaret Richardson's Obituary
Margaret Richardson,90, died June 17, 2019. She was born in Casner, Illinois on Oct. 1, 1928 to the late Garnet and Maud Warner. She grew up on a farm near Mt. Zion, Illinois with 11 brothers and sisters. Margaret married Marwyn (Marty) Richardson in 1947 and were together 53 years until his death in 2000. The family lived in Sidney, Illinois for over 35 years before moving to Lakeland in 1992. She retired from the University of Illinois in 1988 where she was Administrator to the Committee on Accountancy which did the admissions for CPA exams for the State of Illinois.
Margaret is survived by her two children, Rodney (Linda) Richardson and Patricia Richardson, grandchildren Rodney Jr. (Margaret) Richardson, John (Melynn) Richardson and Rebekah Richardson. She is survived by siblings Dwayne Warner, Marie McGeehon, Mary Belskamper and Alice Loomis all of Illinois.
Services will be Mon. June 24, 2019 at Presbyterian Church of the Highlands, 1010 Lake Miriam Drive, Lakeland, Fl. 33813. Visitation 10 a.m. Service at 11 a.m. Interment at Oakhill Cemetery, Lakeland.
