Margaret Ann Allred, 78, a lifelong resident of Lakeland, passed away Dec. 21, 2014 due to heart failure.
Margaret was born in Helen, GA, but moved to Lakeland as a child. She spent her life taking care of her family, attending church, loving all animals, and most of all, taking care of her garden and fish ponds, where everything was beautiful. She was also an active bowler for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William Sr., sons, Steve and his wife Tammy, George and his wife Kim, a daughter Robin Melton and her husband Jimmy, a brother Buddy Magness, her sisters Mary Sapp, Eunice Rowland, and Aleene Walker, and her two grandchildren, Brooke Ann Melton and William Wesley Reid Melton.
Friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, Dec. 26 from 10 – 11 am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Dr., with the service beginning at 11:00 am.
