Mal was a good friend for many many years, often going out of his way to help with framing and talking about art shows. He and wife Sharon gave me a wonderful showing of my art at their gallery in January of 2020. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. And offer my sympathy to the family. He was such a good artist and friend.
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Mal's passing. He was a friend and taught me a lot about painting in watercolors and gave me advice and encouragement before I started entering shows. He always said that if you screw up on a painting to keep in mind that it's only a piece of paper. Wise words to a watercolorist.
His love for Sharon was evident in the way he treated her and took care of her when she needed it. He enhanced their beautiful yard with his gardening skills.
Mal will be greatly missed in the local art community and by those who considered him a friend. RIP, Mal, you were a gem.
