Mackenzie Nicole Orth's Obituary
Mackenzie Nicole Orth, 8, passed away January 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Mackenzie was born in Lakeland on July 9, 2014, to Joey and Brittany Orth. She attended Sun ‘n Lake Elementary School, and enjoyed drawing, painting, clay, arts, YouTube, Minecraft, Adopt Me, Roblox and baking. Mackenzie loved her puppy, “Fluffy,” and referred to her as her, “guardian angel, her baby.” She loved all animals, and her favorite was the axolotl. Trips to Disney, SeaWorld, the zoo and aquarium were among her favorite places to go. Mackenzie was a funny, intelligent, creative, sassy, loving and kind little girl. She always was thinking of others before herself, and was incredibly brave. Her light touched every single person who met her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Joey Orth and Brittany Orth; grandparents, Joe (Teresa) Orth, Sherry (Chris) Barton; Karen Mcgehee and Rob Wilson; uncles, Jacob Barton, Justin Rodgers, Justin (Megan) Mcgehee; aunt, Shelby Orth; cousin, Charlotte Mcgehee.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13th from 3-4 pm at Victory Church’s Chapel, 1401 Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33810. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4 pm in the chapel. #Strongertogether #MackenzietheMagnificent
