Louise M. Lambert's Obituary
Louise M. Lambert 90 of Lakeland, Florida (formerly of Ironton, Ohio) passed away Wednesday June 4, 2025 at her home in North Lakeland.
Louise was born September 23, 1934 in Williamson West Virginia to the late John and Tisha (Bowen) McKenzie.
She graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1953, married Jack Bowling in 1954 and began their family of 4 girls from 1955-1968. In 1982 she lost Jack in an airplane crash she was only 48 (he was 49). She worked hard and kept their Steel and Tubing business going until she retired at the age of 65.
She was lovingly called the Steel Lady or the Tubing Lady from her many Sun-n-Fun patrons, while Jack called her Lou.
Later in life at the age of 69 she married, a former classmate, Charles Lionel Lambert of Kitts Hill Ohio. They were married for 21 years until his passing on May 24, 2023. They were members of Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church in Lakeland.
Those left to continue her legacy are her 4 daughters, “The Bowling Girls” Patricia “Patty” Bowling, Brenda “Bree” Youngblood (David), Linda Fox, and Lori Robbins (David).
6 Grandchildren: Stephanie Lawhorn Stephenson (Matt), Jaime Fox, Dustin Robbins, Kristan McKenzie, Holly Robbins Brock (Tony) and Kyle Robbins.
7 Great Grandchildren: Michale “Hunter” Harvey III (Makenzie), Jordan Duncan, Halie Stephenson (Nathan Vandiver), Kaylanna Stephenson, Nathan Stephenson, Caden Brock and Liam Brock.
2 Great-Great Grandchildren: Paisley Mae Harvey, Autumn Faith Vandiver.
