Louis J. Sojka's Obituary
Lakeland-Louis J. Sojka, age 91 passed away from heart failure on December 18, 2017.
He was born August 16, 1926 in Turners Falls, MA. He worked for New England Power Company for 12 years. He moved to Lake Worth, FL. in 1964 and went to work for Winn-Dixie for 27 years until he retired in 1991 and moved to Lakeland, Florida.
He served in the U.S. Army in World War II after serving fourteen months in Italy.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Sojka of Mt. Shasta, CA, Paul Sojka of Culloden, GA and daughter Patricia Cory of Boynton Beach, FL, step children Donna Wirrkkala and Polly Ann Swart both of Lake Worth, FL, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His wishes are to be cremated and have part of his ashes scattered in his favorite trout stream in Northfield, MA where he spent many happy hours fishing. The rest of will be placed with his wife Mae who preceded him in death.
