Lorrel Lagene Stalvey
5/31/1949 – 1/7/2020
Lorrel went home to be with the Lord on Monday evening, 1-7-2020, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was 71. She had a long history of cardiac and respiratory issues.
In her younger years, she loved to travel around the country and took nieces and nephews to many historical and interesting places.
She was a lifelong resident of Lakeland and had a very long career at Winn-Dixie.
Lorrel is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stalvey; a sister Carolyn Benton; and brother Roger Stalvey. She is survived by a brother, Alan Stalvey; 12 nieces and nephews, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. A celebration of Lorrel’s life will be held at North Lakeland Baptist Church, 306 Wilder Rd. on 1/9/2021 at 11:00 AM. Food and fellowship to follow after. Interment will be at a later date.
