Kathy and Family: I am so truly sorry for your loss but so happy to know that Linwood is reunited with family and friends. He was a good friend to Joe and me—so faithful to come up to spend time with Joe and encourage him. I will miss him.
My family and Linwood's were neighbors (out in the country near Clayton) for many years. He, and all of his family, are loving, caring people. I know Linwood will be greatly missed by so many. I hope that knowing he is with his Savior, Jesus Christ, will be a comfort to all.
Mr. Linwood was the first person I met at Hopewell when I visit. He introduced himself and asked my name. The following week, when I returned, he greeted by name (pronounced correctly) and welcomed me back. From that day forward, I loved seeing Mr. Linwood’s warm smile and getting a morning hug. I will miss you.
