Linda Marie McDow's Obituary
Linda Marie McDow entered heaven on February 13, 2026. She was born on May 30, 1946, in Lake Wales to Johnnie Lee and Bertha Maude (Backus) Barberee. She was a wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, selfless servant, faithful friend, proud American and devout Christian. She spent her life in service to others and was a resident of Lakeland, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Erle.
She is survived by:
Her husband of 60 years, Wilbur Wayne McDow of Lakeland, FL.
Sons - Anthony W. McDow (Holly) of Howey in the Hills, FL and Dwayne C. McDow (Christine) of Lakeland, FL.
Sisters - Patsy Joyner (Ray) of Frostproof, FL; Barbara Stanford of Frostproof, FL.
Sister-in-law Betty Barberee of Avon Park, FL.
Grandchildren – Anthony (Amanda), Travis (Chelsie), Andrew (Claire), Matthew (Lindsay), Mark (Sarah), Matt (Ashley), Michael (Anna), Mark (Zulema)
Great-Grandchildren – Logan, Keylee, Lydia, Kinsley, Saige, Rowen, Noah, Jordan, Leeum, Rylee, Aden, Leif, Rhen, Eden
Memorial Service to be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Friday 2/20/26 at 1:00pm
