LINDA KATHLEEN JOHNSON
LAKELAND - Linda Kathleen Johnson, wife of James Foy Johnson Jr. 'Jimmy,' was born April 23, 1946, in Mobile, AL, and departed this life at home in Highland City, FL, on March 27, 2016.
She was the first of three children born to Clinton A. and Lois Roberts. Her parents preceded her in death.
She and her husband were married 49 years and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June. They have spent their entire married lives in the Lakeland, Florida area.
She was co-owner of Highland City Glass with her husband since 1981. She served as Executive Assistant for Women's Ministries at the Peninsular of Florida District Office for the Assemblies of God. She was very involved with Victory Church, including but not limited to: preparing communion, greeting visitors, nursery, Girl's Ministries, Women's Ministries, Sunday School, preparing meals, and any other area of need.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, James 'Jimmy' F. Johnson, Jr.; two sons: James 'Jamey' F. Johnson, III, (Laurie) and Tim Johnson (Amy), both of Lakeland, FL, seven grandchildren: Taylor, Logan, Timothy (TJ), Elizabeth, Joshua, Aaron, and Mary-Claire, one brother, Barry A. Roberts of Tampa, and one sister, Mrs. Barbara Collins (Rev. Ken and Barbara Collins) of Riverview.

Celebration of life service will be held at Victory Church, Lakeland, FL on April 1, 2016. Visitation at 10am and Service at 11am.
