Leroy "Wayne" Harnage's Obituary
Leroy “Wayne” Harnage, 66, passed away Aug. 8, 2021.
Wayne was born in Bartow, FL on Oct. 12, 1954.He enjoyed NHRA Racing, rodeos, and was an avid motorcycle rider. He participated in numerous motorcycle groups including: Legion Riders, Harley Davidson, PRCA, various Veteran rides, and was a Sergeant at Arms for American Legion Post 8.
Wayne is survived by his daughters, Tonna Harnage of Plant City, FL and Shannon Harnage of College Station, TX; son, Wayne Harnage of Boothwyn, PA; grandchildren, Tessie Ritter and Weslie Ritter, both of Plant City, FL; sisters, Marian Harnage Otto of Lakeland, FL and Sandra Harnage of Tallahassee, FL; and his girlfriend, Janice Piper. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Harnage Watson.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 5th at 11 am at the American Legion Post 8 in Winter Haven, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Legion Post 8 to help with Homeless Veterans and Veterans with PTSD.
