Laura Jean Borawski (Killen)
Went to be with Jesus February 8th, 2021 in her 88th year. Loving mother to Judy, Mary, and Karen; Grandma to 13, Great Grandma to 16, and Great Great Grandma to 1. She was predeceased by her father and mother Jack & Effie Killen (Beilstein), brothers Merle, Jack, and Robert, sister Phyllis (Rooke), and husband Norbert Daniel Borawski. She is survived by her brother Leon of Waterloo, Canada.
She married Norbert in 1952 while he served in the US Navy, during which she moved frequently. Afterwards, she settled for awhile in Ohio, Florida, and finally Michigan.
She devoted her life to raising her daughters, managing her household, and developing her talents with handicrafts and gardening.
Her faith and devotion to Jesus was without question. Her favorite subjects to talk about were her love for her husband and family, her love for Jesus and her love for Israel. This is her legacy.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 9-10 am at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel, followed by services at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jewish Voice: https://www.jewishvoice.org/donate
