Laura “Louise” Bailey
Lakeland – Laura “Louise” Bailey, 82, passed away Mar.20, 2015.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Billings, Montana on Sept. 27, 1932. She moved to the Lakeland area 49 years ago from Granada Hills, CA. She was a former member and Sunday School teacher at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Bailey enjoyed playing the piano, singing and truly loved to garden.
Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her brother, James Yates; and son-in-law, Peter Farrington. She is survived by her husband, Allan T. Bailey; children, Cherryl A. Farrington, Kathleen L. (Rodney) Brown, Pamela J. (Jose) Cuellar, John T. (Connie) Bailey and Colleen L. (Pete) Kuhlmann; siblings, Henry (Sherrill) Yates, Richard (Glenda) Yates and Sharon (Hugh) Burnsed; sister-in-law, Jean Yates; grandchildren, Sean (Laura) Farrington, Ian (Kimberly) Farrington, Joshua (Jenny) Brown, Bryan Burbage, Jacob Brown, Jessica (Kevin) Kelso, Brittany (Keelan) Haworth, Heather Bailey, Shelbi Kuhlmann and Courtney Bailey; and 10 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thurs. Mar. 26th at Victory Church – Chapel, with services to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will be in Oak Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 601 South Florida Avenue Suite 3, Lakeland, FL 33801
