Larry H. Filmore's Obituary
Mr. Larry H. Filmore went home to be with The Lord and surrounded by family on March 23, 2021. He was born in Horton, AL on July 10, 1950 to the late Homer and Lillie Bell Filmore.
Larry is survived by his wife, Debi (Metz) Filmore; son, Josh Filmore (Erica) of Winter Haven, Jesse Filmore of Lakeland; 3 grandchildren; brother, Danny Filmore (Norma) and sister, Lisa Filmore.
He moved to Florida in 1953 and remained a lifelong resident. Larry worked for the City of Lakeland for 38 years. He was a born again Christian who loved The Lord and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Larry also loved his family, his Harley’s , square body Chevy trucks, hunting, fishing and wheeling and dealing.
Visitation will be Saturday, 3/27/21 from 10 – 11 am at Calvary Baptist Church, with services to begin at 11:00. Interment will be at Serenity Gardens. Condolences to the family may be offered at www.gentry-morrison.com
