Kevin Wayne "Bear" Kessler 58 of Lakeland died on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018. He was born at Eglin Air Force Base to Wellington & Mary (Ballard) Kessler. Bear has lived in central Florida most of his life and enjoyed spending many hours riding his motorcycle and was most proud of his involvement and the many friends he gained through his membership with the Florida Riders Owner Group, were he was currently serving as President. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Roger. Bear is survived by the love of his life, his wife Laritha of Lakeland, FL, Son Kristipher (Misty) of Lakeland, FL Daughter Kristin (Robert) Blizzard of Plant City, FL, Brother Neil of Lakeland, FL, his 6 grandchildren Dallas, Katiana, Savannah, Dawson, Jackson, and Joseph. His family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, Oct 26th at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Dr, Lakeland. A Celebration of his Life will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, Oct 27th, 2018 at Mount Tabor Baptist Church, 3504 Mt Tabor Rd, Lakeland, FL 33810 with a committal service taking place a Mount Tabor Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
