Kenneth Neil Taylor's Obituary
Kenneth Taylor, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on November 28, 1938 to parents Neil and Maudine Taylor, he lived a life filled with love, service, and craftsmanship.
Kenneth was married to the absolute love of his life, Jacquelyn Taylor for 65 years. Together, they raised their children, built two homes and lived a joyful life together, travelling and enjoying nature on their property and home in North Lakeland.
A lifelong resident of Polk County Florida, he proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he exemplified the values of dedication and perseverance. After his military service, Ken made his career as an outside salesman for Raybro Electric Supply Co., where he excelled and became the top salesman in the state of Florida for many years. In his personal time he enjoyed fishing, building, woodworking and helping others with projects. His handcrafted woodworking projects created beautiful pieces of furniture for their home, family and friends, Bethel Baptist church and the Lakeland Seventh Day Adventist church. An avid fisherman, Ken enjoyed quality time with friends and family pulling fish from the fresh waters of Florida.
He is preceded in death by his parents Neil and Maudine Taylor, sisters Velda Guderian, Lyndal Caudill, Rowena Betz and brother Buddy Taylor. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie, his two sons, Alan (wife Janine) and Mike (wife Kelly), as well as his grandchildren Kevin, Alicia, Shane, Samantha, and John, his cherished great-grandchildren, his sister Martha Wilt, and sister-in-law Nancy Taylor.
Kenneth Taylor will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the many projects he so lovingly created.
