I can’t believe it’s been ten years - yet it still feels like yesterday…

I remember the way you lit up a room — and how, in a crowd full of people, you always had a way of making others feel like they were the only person who mattered in that moment.

You came into my life during one of my darkest hours and shined your light so bright that it allowed me to feel safe from all the shadows. You treated me like a person while the rest of the world tore me apart. Thank you for that. I am forever grateful for the love you gave and eternally broken by how soon we had to say goodbye.

I remember Kellie from middle school. She was a blast in a little package. We used to sleep over at each others houses growing up. I am sad I am just finding this out and very sorry for the family's loss.

Kellie always treated her family so good. She always looked out for us. We have several siblings and she loved all of us unconditionally. She'd be the first one ready to do whatever necessary to protect or back her family. The day before she was senselessly killed by susanna, the drunk driver, she called me and made me say I love you to her over and over again until she was satisfied with how I said it. She kept saying "Noooooo say it like you really mean it" and Id say it again in a sweeter voice and every time I said it she'd say it back before saying no say it again but like you really mean it. So literally the last thing we said to one another was I LOVE YOU! I am forever grateful those were our last words but nothing makes losing her any easier. She loved unconditionally. She was the sweetest soul in the world and its been a much darker world since she left it. I miss you sissy. 💔😥
