Kathy Singler's Obituary
Kathy Singler passed away on 7/29/2021 at the age of 65. Kathy was born in Columbus, OH to parents James and Doris (Rogers) Cook. She grew up in Central Florida, graduating from Robinson HS in South Tampa, class of ‘74. She worked as a server at various restaurants, most notably at Rib Crib for over a decade. She married Ed Singler on Christmas Day in 1988. Kathy and Ed were long time boaters, having owned several boats throughout their marriage and spending much of their time on the water. Kathy enjoyed collecting dolphins and Guy Harvey art. She also had a passion for dogs, especially Yorkies.
Kathy is preceded in death by husband Ed in 2019. Also proceeding her in death are brothers Tim Cook and Ray Miller. She is survived by sisters Yvonne Kessler, Diana Howerton, Mary Gomez, Patricia Smith, Doris Cutcher, Pauline Benoit, and Sherry Torres; her favorite nephew Tim Cook, Jr.; and neighbors and dear friends, Faye Bassford and her son Arty, Sherri Newsome, and Joyce Landers.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, 8/5, at 1:00 PM, at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel, 3350 Mall Hill Drive.
