Kathleen Ann Gerard's Obituary
Kathleen Ann (Weber) Gerard, 84, was born on March 27, 1935 and passed away peacefully on November 30, 2019, 5 months after her beloved husband (Alvin Gerard) of 64 years.
Kathleen was the middle of 5 children to the late Roman and Esther Weber in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She worked at Halen’s grocery store to put herself through parochial school (Pius High School). After Alvin was discharged from the Navy, Al and Kathy married on May 19, 1955 at St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church in Milwaukee, WI. Kathy was a stay at home wife and mother to 7 children. When the children were old enough, Kathy went to work as a waitress for several years. She enjoyed watching all her children and grandchildren play school sports. She also liked to watch the Green Bay Packers whenever she could. After retirement Kathy enjoyed swimming, playing golf and traveling with friends from Highland Fairways.
Kathy is survived by her children; Judy (Karney), Mark, Mike (Allison), Eric (Lisa) and daughter-in-law, Cindy; 12 grandchildren: Cheryl, Kim (Tim), Scott, Preston, Michael, T.J., Ben, Madelyn, Brennen, Stacey (Jake), David and Jacob; 2 great grandchildren: Jordyn and Callan; sister, Lois; brother, Bob (Anita) and many relatives and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Esther Weber; loving husband, Alvin Gerard; children, Connie, Lori, and Jeff; sister, Mary and brother, John.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:30 AM.
Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
